I’ve had very bad luck with the DoorDash delivery platform. It seems 90% of the time, something was always wrong. Either the food was ice cold, something was missing or the dasher arrived late. I’m not the type of person who just accepts failure. If I were at a restaurant, and was unsatisfied with my plate, I would flag down a waiter and send my food back. So, when I received my recent delivery, I felt it was only fair to reach out to DoorDash via the mobile app’s help section and express my dissatisfaction.
Doordash usually would refund me on the app with no questions asked. Other apps require you to call customer service and most of the time you don’t even get the refund. This is a great positive feature of theirs that I appreciate. However, this time they weren’t so accommodating. They made it out to be my fault, even though the driver was more than 10 minutes late and the food arrived colder than the Frozen Tundra. Does anyone else do this? I would like to know?
